The Bayou Collection: Community Day — WAMA

The Walter Anderson Museum of Art opens its George Rodrigue show for a free Community Day: 40 Bayou Collection paintings drawn from Cajun folklore, ghost stories and the Rougarou legend, followed by a chance to invent an imaginary creature of your own and write a short poem or story about its appearance, powers, origin and desires. Free admission and open to all ages, 11AM–1PM.
