Jackson County Blue Ribbon Fair

The Jackson County Fair returns for its 250th edition with eight days of midway rides, food vendors and exhibit halls, opening Sunday, October 18 and running through Sunday, October 25. Ride armbands are $25, with reduced-price and off-peak armband sessions on several weeknights. Each day has its own programme: exhibition halls open daily from 9 AM, the Blue Ribbon Stage carries youth dance groups and band competitions, and the barn hosts the 4-H cattle auction and youth competitions on the closing Saturday. Thursday is Old Settlers' Day for Jackson County residents aged 70 and over, and the fair closes with two armband sessions on the final Sunday.
